   Archie Brown was one of the most loved funeral directors of all time and was a vital part of the staff of Hickman Funeral Home for many years. He is still fondly remembered by many.

Many changes and improvements have taken place since that time.

    Harold Hickman about 1933. Harold was Albert Hickman’s son and was one of the first dual licensed persons in McCreary County.


Haydren Worley was the General Manager of Hickman Funeral Home from 1948 until his death in 1974. Haydren along with his wife, Mildred Hickman Worley, was responsible for building our current location at 156 S. Main Street, Whitley City, Kentucky.
