Obituary for Albert Clark
Rev. Albert Clark, 82, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at his residence.
Albert was born April 4, 1938, in McCreary County, Kentucky. On October13, 1960, he married Velva Dean (Godsey).
Mr. Clark retired from Frank’s Foundry.
Albert was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Yorktown.
He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Velva Dean Clark; his children, Loretta Cordle (Ralph), Tracie King (Paul), Floyd Clark and Tammie Lee (Bobby); his brothers, Gilbert Clark (Glenna), and Dillard Clark (Carol); eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Hulen and Ida Mae Clark; his son, Preston Clark; his daughter, Melissa Clark; and several brothers and sisters.
Private Services will be held at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
