Obituary for Anna Wilson
Anna Lene Wilson, age 71 years and 22 days, of Corbin, Kentucky, formerly of Stearns, daughter of the late Clyde and Lena Boyatt Wilson, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 in Lexington, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Rufus Hughes officiating. Burial was in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Anna graduated from McCreary Central High School in 1967. She worked several years at the McCreary County Record, Parkland Motel, and Walmart. Anna was saved in 1966 in a little country church at the same time her father and sister were saved. She enjoyed meeting and talking to people. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her flowers, especially her cactuses, but most of all she enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Lower Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two brothers, Terry and Belinda Wilson of Marshes Siding and Denver and Janet Wilson of Stearns who she loved so much. Three nieces, Katie and Keisha Wilson and Michelle and Randy Kidd and Preston and Dawn King, one great niece, Laney Kidd, and two great nephews, Cody King and Liam Kidd.
Three very special people, her sisters, Janice and Shanda, who she loved so much, and Bob Kidd, the love of her life, preceded her in death.
