Obituary for Arnold Eddie Davis
Arnold Eddie Davis, age 70 years, 11 months, and 11 days, of Whitley City passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny and Thomas Corder officiating. Burial was in the Wright Cemetery.
He was born January 1, 1949 in McCreary County to Dester Neal and Allie E. Phillips. Arnold made his living as a logger and enjoyed working on vehicles and working with his mules.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Hobert Stephens, Jr.
Survivors include a son, Eddie Davis of Whitley City, a daughter, Jeannie Smith of Marshes Siding, brothers, Doyle Davis of Marshes Siding, David Stephens of Pine Knot, and Ray Davis of Whitley City, eight grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
