Brooklyn Nicole Ross, age 19 years, 6 months, and 19 days, passed away Monday, October 23,2017 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Cassada and Bro. Eddie King officiating. Burial was in the Stearns Cemetery.
She was born April 4, 1998 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Paul Ross and Michelle Warman Ross, she shared her birthday with her great grandmother, Viola Easter Warman, Brooklyn was a member of the Whitley City Second Baptist Church and was attending Somerset Community College. She had also attended Eastern Kentucky University. Brooklyn loved playing volley ball and rescuing animals. She also enjoyed watching Netflix and taking naps.
Preceding her in death was her father and her grandfather, Phillip Larry Ross.
Survivors include her mother, Michelle Ross Grundy and her husband Justin, her sister, Brittany Ross, grandparents, Frances Ross and Max and Sybil Warman, aunts and uncles, Larry and Teresa Wallen, Debbie Ross, Patrick Ross, Sr., and Phillip Chase Ross, her boyfriend, Dylan Shadoan, and several cousins and other relatives.
