Charlie Corder, age 87 years, 7 months, and 7 days, passed away at his home in Stearns, Kentucky on Saturday, September 4, 2021 and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday September 8, 2021 in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Hobert Corder and Bro. Garred Corder officiating. Burial followed in the Clearview Cemetery.

He was born January 28, 1934 to Hobert Corder and Mary Margaret Jones in Ritner, Kentucky. Charlie worked at Wrights Dairy Farm and also as a coal miner and a logger. He was a member of the Clearview Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Wilma Duvall Corder, son, Doug Corder, brothers, Virgil Corder, and Rev. Calvin Corder, and sisters, Ilene and Gladys.

Survivors include his son, Joe Corder, and wife, Janet, daughter, Janet Stephens, and husband, Gary, daughter in-law, Linda Corder, brothers, Rev. Harvey Corder, and Gary Corder, and wife, Ila, sisters, Corena Tucker, and Elizbeth Worley, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
