David and I were good friends in high school. Once we got called to Eddie Brown's office for flying dozens of paper airplanes out the library windows during study hall. We couldn't understand how he knew it was us until he told us that our names were on the papers. David was a very humble person and would never acknowledge how smart he actually was. He could always solve the most difficult math problems, the ones that went completely over my head.
After we graduated, we often traveled together to Bowling Green to visit Tom Stephens at WKU. We would always drive David's old plymouth valiant that had a million miles on it, but it never failed us. Thanks for the great memories. Rest in peace, my Brother.
