David Lee was a little man in stature but a very strong man. He was extremely skilled in the trade of carpet installation, being self-employed for over fifty years. Everything David Lee did was to his best, whether it was carpet, carpentry or working on vehicles. While he never met a stranger, he would give the shirt off his back or his last dime to someone in need. When he was asked to help with something he was always willing. David Lee had a carefree and adventurous spirit that was humbled and in awe of God's creation. His favorite things to do include being among family and friends, outdoors in the woods, riding four wheelers, lawn mowers or motorcycles, and being out on the lake in a boat or on a jet ski. He enjoyed watching Nascar, and being with his dog, Dixie. David Lee enjoyed playing guitar and singing with family. He loved to travel, and especially spending time in Gatlinburg. He enjoyed life and was full of adventure, always ready to go on the next trip. To know David Lee, was to always have a loyal and loving friend.

Preceding him death was his parents, Flora “Sis” Ross Crowe, and Earl D. Wilson, maternal grandparents, Pinkie Adina Hill Ross and Jasper Ross, paternal grandparents, Haley Jane Godsey Wilson and Rev. Cal Wilson, sister, Bonnie L. Johnson, and stepbrother, Thomas M. Crowe.
