Obituary for Debbie Ann Gibson (Meadows)
Debbie Ann Gibson, age 61 years, 8 months, and 21 days, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 in Corbin, Kentucky and was taken into the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Private funeral services were held Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Tucker officiating. Burial was in the Osborne Creek Cemetery.
She was born July 2, 1958 in Jellico, Tennessee to Ledford Meadows and Willie Strunk Meadows. Debbie provided a loving home for her family as a homemaker. She loved all sorts of crafts and decorating. She was also a huge University of Kentucky basketball fan. Debbie enjoyed family gatherings, especially caring for her grandchildren.
Her father precedes her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Gibson, whom she married June 30, 1977, of Williamsburg, her mother, Willie Meadows of Williamsburg, a son, Allen Gibson and his fiance, Amy Gildon, of Caryville, Tennessee, daughters, Dana Cordell of Stearns and Jamie Neeley and her husband, Michael, of Somerset, a brother, Ron and his wife, Clara, of Marshes Siding, a sister, Brenda Sue Byrd and her husband, Ronald, of Somerset, and six grandchildren.
