Donald Ray Perry, age 84 years, 1 months, and 29 days, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Lake Cumberland Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky, and was placed in the care of the Hickman – Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, December 28th, in the Chapel of the Hickman – Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Barren Fork Cemetery.

He was born October 25, 1939, to Otis Perry and Ida Powell Perry. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Bobbie Carol Perry, a son Ronald Gene Perry, Grandsons, Michael Aaron Perry and Brandon Lee Perry, Stepmother, Gladys Dolon, Stepfather, Jim Dolon, and several siblings and friends.

He is survived by his son Fred (Sarita) Perry of Indiana, daughter, Dora Ann (Jerry) Grant of Whitley City, KY, son, John (Monica) Perry of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter, Linda (Bruce) Waldo of Indiana, son, Donald 9Jenninfer) Perry of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter-in-law, Jenny Perry of Cincinnati, Ohio, grandchildren, Danny (Chrissy) Grant of Oneida, Tennessee, Jerry and Adrian Grant of Citra, Florida, Ralph Grant of Whitley City, Kentucky, Josh (Brandi) Grant of Pine Knot, KY, David and Dee Perry of Indiana, Alisha Perry, Justin Perry, Chasity Perry, Brittany Anderson, Lisa Marie, Johnny Perry, Allison Perry, Jessica Perry, Shyanne Perry, Jordan Perry, Jacob “Jake” Perry, Nate Perry, and Ciera Perry all of Cincinnati, Ohio, 23 great grandchildren, and several cousins and a very special cousin that he thought of as a son Donald Powell.
