Obituary for Earl Roger Stanfil

Earl Roger Stanfill, 76, of Norwood, Ohio died peacefully September 23, 2021, at his Norwood home. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Virginia (Foster) Stanfill. He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Kathy Renee Stanfill (Braden). He is also survived by his beloved daughter Terri Stanfill (Terry Mayo) and included are his grandchildren Devin Braden (Monica Helton), Chase Braden (Stephanie Braden), Hunter Braden, Spencer Stanfill, Annslee Braden, and one great grandchild Ryland Braden.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 1, 2021, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

Roger was born April 11, 1945, to Ernest and Mossie Stanfill. He attended Pine Knot High School in Pine Knot, Kentucky with the graduating class of 1963. He continued his education at Cincinnati State in Ohio graduating with an associate's degree in graphics design.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and volunteering in his home church (Love Divine Baptist Church). Some of his passions were playing basketball in his younger years and cheering on his favorite team University of Kentucky basketball. He dedicated the majority of his professional career to Ford Motor Company and then continued his career with Children’s Hospital.
