Obituary for Elizabeth Martin (Howard)
Elizabeth (Howard) Martin, age 84, was born on March 1st, 1934 and passed into eternal life on December 23rd, 2018.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Sewell officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
She was born to the late Ross Howard and Clara (Vanover) Howard. Elizabeth was a member of the Walker Chapel Church in Parkers Lake. She enjoyed taking walks, traveling, going shopping, and spending time with everyone in her family. Elizabeth loved life and everyone she shared it with. We will never forget her contagious smile and laughter.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her loving husband, Lester Martin, brothers, David Howard, Eddie Howard, and one infant brother, one sister, Joyce Bybee, and a brother-in-law, Jack Cordell.
Survivors include their four precious children, Debbie King and her husband, Lindell, Robyn Martin, Sherry McDonald and her husband, Jeff, and Timmy Martin, grandchildren are Todd Souleyrette, Eric and Maggie McDonald ,Tracy McDonald, and Harley Vanover, great-grandchildren include Ashlyn, Daijah, Trenton, Zackery, and Erica, a special step-grandson, Dustin Keeton and his wife, Sheena, and step-granddaughter whom helped provide care and comfort, Lisa King-Sexton, numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and siblings, Sue Bruce and her husband, John, Diane Coffey and her husband, James, Vera King and her husband, Duke, Kaye Cordell, Roger Howard and his wife, Becky, Charles Howard and his wife, Barbara, Tony Howard and his wife, Heather, and Leon Howard and his wife, Judy.
