Gary Vanover, age 61 years, 2 months, and 14 days passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his residence in Pine Knot, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

In keeping with his wishes, Gary was cremated.

He was born October 16, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Coyett Vanover and Alice Ravina (Fickey) Vanover. Gary was a retired truck driver for Super Service. He enjoyed billiards and played in tournaments. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his father, and two sisters, Barbara Moore, and Lori Vanover.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Ravina Wilson,his fiancé, Cheryl Canada, a son, Gary Vanover II, and his wife, Amanda, a daughter, Amanda Rutherford, stepdaughters, Chayann Vanover and Kala Vanover, two brothers, Wayne Vanover, and his wife, Shelley, Larry Vanover, and his wife, Debbie, two sisters, Pamela Dickenson, and her husband, Gary Lee, and Michelle Coffey, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, a special friend Leon Hatfield, and a special nephew Timmy Moore.
