While the family is deeply saddened by Gilmore's passing, they ask that all family and friends pause to reflect on the happy personal memories shared with Gilmore and remember him in that way. Gilmore recognized the value of hard work and instilled this value into his family. Gilmore enjoyed the simple things in life and never met a stranger.
