Obituary for Grace Crabtree Mrs
Mrs. Grace Crabtree, age 94, of Stearns, Kentucky passed away Tuesday October 22, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Care Center, in Somerset, Ky.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Stewart Jones officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery.
She was born July 26, 1925, in Bell Farm, Ky. to Charlie Hill and Minnie Gregory Hill. Grace was a member of the Oak Grove United Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and gardening, but enjoyed her family time and her grandchildren most. She loved all her family including her nieces and nephews.
Grace was married to William Crabtree on November 6, 1943 and the couple had two children, James Crabtree, deceased, and Judie Crabtree Morrow, of Stearns. Survivors also include two brothers, William B, Hill and his wife, Thelma, and Earl Hill and his wife, Elizabeth, grandchildren, Karen Morris, Sharon Morrow, Michael Morrow, Rosemary Adkins, Julie DeSpain, and Jamie Howard, great grandchildren, Katisha, Kyndal, Kamden, Preston, Dustin, Abigail, Jacob, and Megan.
In addition to her husband and son, she is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ralph, Ottis and Conley Hill, four sisters, Violet Crabtree, Stella Tucker, Velva Swearingen, and Anna Bell Howell.
