Haven Mariah Rose, Age 23, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Poynter and Bro. Ronnie Watkins officiating.
Haven was born in Corbin, Kentucky on May 10, 1996 to Estill Lynn Rose, and Carolyn Poynter-Rose. She worked in an aluminum factory, and was a member of the Marshes Siding Baptist Church. Haven loved all animals, specifically her cats, and was an advocate for animal safety. Family time was very special to her and she loved hiking and going on nature walks.
Haven is preceded in death by: her father, Estill Rose.
She is survived by: her mother, Carolyn Poynter-Amos of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; her maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Debbie Poynter of Whitley City; her paternal grandparents, Marvin and Nancy Rose of Hyden, Kentucky; two brothers, Joseph Rose of Louisville, Kentucky, Michael Rose of Corbin, Kentucky; one sister, Christie Ellis of Stearns; her uncle, Joseph Poynter and his wife Sarah of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; three aunts, Stephanie Meadows of Whitley City, Beverly Ashe of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Angie Norris of Hyden, Kentucky; and a large extended family.
