Obituary for Helen Jean Kidd (King)
Helen Jean Kidd, age 74 years, 1 month, and 24 days, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 in Somerset, Kentucky.
Memorial services were held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton King officiating.
She was born March 5, 1945 in McCreary County, Kentucky to the late Sedley King and Esther Boyatt King. Helen retired from Outdoor Venture Corporation in Stearns. After retirement she enjoyed spending free time with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her son, Todd Kidd, daughters, Patty Bryant and Tammy Kidd and sisters, Louise Johnson and Betty Parsons.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Tucker, husband, John, of Dalton, Georgia, a brother Wendell King , wife, Betty, of Revelo, Kentucky, three sisters, Dessie Grundy of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Alene Harper of Dayton, Ohio, and Judy Ridener of Goshen, Ohio, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
