Irene Atkinson, age 54 years, 5 months, and 20 days, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Lexington, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. David Troxell officiating. Burial was in the Wright Cemetery.
She was born April 26, 1967, in Marshes Siding, Kentucky, to Parker Dick and Neak Lowey Dick. Irene enjoyed going to the park and visiting with friends and family.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Robert Dick, Ricky Dick, and Richard Dick, and sister, Joyce Dick.
Survivors include her son, Johnny Bates, and wife, Katrina, brother, Junior Ray Dick, sisters, Rosie Vaughn, and husband, Jason, Susie Flynn, Linda Herald, and husband, Tommy, Wanda Dick, and Glenna Helton, and grandchildren, Rachel and Johnny III.
