Obituary for Jackie Strunk (Maxwell)
Jackie Maxwell-Strunk, age 73 years, 5 months, and 10 days, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2020 at her home in Stearns, Kentucky.
Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 12:00pm in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery in Stearns, Kentucky with Bro. Mark Sewell and Bro. Eddie King officiating.
Jackie was born in Wiborg, Kentucky on January 17, 1947 to Marvin Maxwell and Lora Jones Maxwell. She attended the First Hickory Grove United Baptist Church. Her first job was at "The Spot" in Whitley City, Kentucky, and she later went on to work at McCreary Manufacturing and Tecumseh. Jackie loved cooking and caring for her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; five brothers, Boyce Dean Maxwell, Leonard Maxwell, James E. Maxwell, Billy E. Maxwell, Harold Maxwell; two sisters, Irene Maxwell Strunk, and Jennifer Maxwell.
Jackie is survived by a large host of loving family, including: her husband, Larry Strunk; one brother, Lenville Maxwell and his wife, Brenda, of Whitley City; one sister, Donna Maxwell of Whitley City; her children, Michael Strunk and wife, Angie, of Missouri, Sherry Sewell and husband, Mark, of Whitley City, Samantha Craig and husband, Tommy, of Oneida, Tennessee, Jonathan Strunk and his wife, Lauren, of Revelo, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Emily Strunk, Chelsea Strunk, Gunnar Strunk, Makenzie Alire, Jessica Bowman, Aaron Sewell, Mackenzie Craig, Courtney Craig, Trystan Craig, Tripp Strunk, and Logan Strunk; 12 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
