Obituary for Janice Faye Ball (Owens)
Janice Faye Owens Ball, age 77 years, 11 months, and 15 days, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in Oneida, Tennessee.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 28, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. David Decker officiating. Burial was in the T. Chitwood Cemetery.
She was born November 8, 1941 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to Tom Owens and Mable Inman Barnhill. Janice was a member of the Round Top United Baptist Church and had made a living serving others as a waitress before her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her flower beds but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Mark “Doc” Ball, a son, Estle Owens, brothers, Kenneth Caddell, Tom Owens, Les Owens, and Carroll Owens, and two sisters.
Survivors include her children, Jimmy Larry Ball and his wife, Teresa, of Strunk and Janie West and her husband, Vince, of Winfield, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
