Obituary for Jo Nevels
Jo Nevels, age 80 years, 1 month, and 5 days, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home in Hamilton, Ohio and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Graveside services were held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 12:30 pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. Danny Staley officiating.
She was born August 14, 2021 in Greenwood, Kentucky, to Oscar Worley and Gertie Keith Worley. Jo was a retired nurse and X-Ray tech. She was a member of the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting, reading, crafts, attending church, family time, and loved her grandpup.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Deemes Nevels, brothers, Cecil, Alton, and Herb, and sisters, Gladys and Estelle.
Surviving her in death is her son, David Nevels, and wife, Teresa.
