I first met Juanita at Lumber King in Whitley City sometime in the early 1980's She was a warm person who was easy to talk to about building product needs. I think she was a widow already at that time. After the job was finished in Whitley City, I didn't see her again until after she remarried and moved to Somerset to work at Lumber King at Somerset. I cannot recall ever seeing her outside of Lumber King but we had pleasant passing of time while I was shopping and she was assisting with instore products. One time, in Whitley City. she told some of the men, myself included, "come on boys, over here, I need some help lifting something." I asked her, "How old does a person have to be to be considered a man?" She answered, "Older than me (herself)." I thought myself to be older than she, but never knew until reading her obituary that she was my senior by about 8 months.

She was a sweet very likeable person. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
