Obituary for Katherine Mae Maxwell
Katherine Mae Maxwell, age 69 years, 8 months, and 26 days of the Wilson Ridge community passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
In keeping with her wishes, no funeral services were held. Burial was in the Daugherty Cemetery.
She was born November 25, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Lander Maxwell and Vina Davis Maxwell. Katherine was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her life long companion, Starlin Daugherty, brothers, Jerry “Jr” Maxwell and Henry Maxwell, and sisters, Jo Ann Lyons, Della Maxwell, and Nancy Maxwell.
Survivors include a brother, Lander Perry “Judge” Maxwell of Cincinnati, sisters, Ruby Maxwell Douglas of Oak Ridge and Beulah Maxwell of Whitley City, many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Fay Walls, Linda Maxwell, Jennifer Roberts, and Bill and Renee Laxton.
