Kenneth Tapley, age 70 years, 10 months, and 26 days, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Friday at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Rufus Hughes officiating. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery with military honors.

He was born March 17, 1950 in Somerset, Kentucky to Alonzo Tapley and Effie Coffey Tapley. Kenneth served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, he came to know his savior Jesus Christ during his service. Kenneth retired from Outdoor Venture Corporation. He enjoyed relaxing at his cabin on Rock Creek, hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Ernest Tapley, and sisters, Joyce Tucker, and Willadean Tapley.
Survivors include brothers, Curtis Tapley, Roy Tapley, and wife, Betty, Larry Tapley, and wife, Hazel, and Jerry Tapley, and wife, Brenda, a special nephew, Bryan Tapley, and wife Crystal, and many other nieces and nephews.

Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Kenneth Tapley.
