Obituary for Larry Cecil Troxell
Larry “Jig” Troxell, age 77 years, 5 months, and 18 days, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 31, 2021 at the Hilltop Baptist Church with Bro. David Troxell officiating. Burial followed in the Hickman Cemetery.
He was born December 9, 1943 to Clyde Troxell and Juanita Benson Troxell. Larry worked for Schulte Corp. where he retired. He enjoyed watching nascar and in his early years he excelled at hunting and fishing.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his first wife, Pauline Troxell, two brothers, Dorman Troxell, and Ronnie Troxell, two sisters, Bonnie Dean Troxell, and Brenda Jones, and one grandchild, Brittany.
Survivors include his wife, Glenna Troxell, two sons, Michael Troxell, and wife, Maggie, Jessie Jay Coleman, and Tracey, three daughters, Michelle Troxell, Linda Turner, and husband, Kyle, and Sandy Cordell, and husband, Larry, five Brothers, David Troxell, Dennis Troxell, and wife, Betty, Jeff Troxell, and wife, Connie, Bruce Troxell, and wife, Gloria, and Eddie Troxell, one sister, Kathy Strunk, three grandchildren, Courtney, Jacklyn, and Josh, two great grandchildren, Hudson, and Hensley, and two sidekicks, Margie Strunk and Tammy Lyons.
