Obituary for Linville Taylor
Linville Lee Taylor, age 79 years, 1 month, and 21 days, husband of, Eva Privett Taylor, went to be with his Lord and savior Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at his home in Strunk, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Graveside services were held Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Jess Privett Cemetery with Bro. Stuart Jones and Bro. Troy Watson officiating.
He was born July 31, 1942, in Strunk, Kentucky to George Arnold Taylor and Margie Marie Coffey Taylor. Linville was retired having worked for 30 years at Arvin in Oneida Tennessee and Outdoor Venture Corporation He was a member of the Paint Rock Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family time; especially with his grandchildren, and working around the house.
Preceding him in death were his parents, sister, Vonda Kidd, brother in-law, Alvis Privett, and two nephews.
Survivors include his loving wife, Eva, whom he married July 24, 1964, two daughters, Tracy Jones, and husband, Daniel, Sherry Coffey, and husband, Curtis, his brothers, Conley Taylor, and wife, Wanda, Coy Taylor, and wife, Jeany, Charles Taylor, and wife, Rhonda, Kenny Taylor, and Alonzo Taylor, his sisters, Katherine Stephens, Wilda Douglas, and husband, Howard, Sharon Taylor, Betty Watson, and husband, Rev. Larry, Karen Watters, and husband, Larry, and Shirley Bryant, and husband, Lawrence, brother in-laws, Hurstle Privett, and wife, Cheryl, Ronnie Privett, and wife, Joan, sister in-law, Nancy Privett, 3 grandchildren, Jarrod Stephens, and wife, Stephanie, Cody Stephens, and wife, Samantha, and Christopher Coffey, 6 great grandchildren, Madison, Aytumn, Ava, Cameron, Hunter, and Matthew and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for funeral expenses.
