Obituary

Lizbeth Staffey, age 69 years, 10 months, and 13 days, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 10 pm at the Hickman-Strunki Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Dixon officiating. Burial was in the Barrenfork Cemetery.

She was born January 5, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles Meeks and Thelma Boyatt Meeks. Lizbeth was an art teacher for 15 years in the McCreary County School System. She enjoyed painting, nature, and she truly loved what God created. She also worked as a floral designer and owned her own flower shop. She was very creative and had a wonderful, sweet spirit.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Chuck Meeks, and a sister, Margie Meeks Mason.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Staffey, a niece, Amy Pennington, and a nephew, Charles Doug Meeks.

Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Lizbeth Staffey.
