Obituary for Mary Jane Frederick (Bruce)
Mary Jane Frederick, age 81 years, 8 months, and 19 days, passed away Sunday July 31, 2022, at her home in Stearns, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 5, 2022, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 3:00 pm (Mountain Time) at the Mountain View-Mount Calvary Cemetery in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Born Tuesday, Nov 12, 1940, in Park River, North Dakota, to the late Gordon Bruce and Thelma Hendrickson Bruce. Mary Jane worked in management with the Western Business Products and retired after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed reading, traveling, attending Rock Springs Church, where she was a member. She especially enjoyed her family time. She was married to Richard Frederick, who in addition to her parents predeceased her.
Surviving family members include, 3 sons, Brad Frederick, and his wife Rhonda, of Loveland, Colorado, Mark Frederick and his wife Jessica, and John Frederick and his wife Cathy, all of Rapid City, South Dakota.
3 daughters, Carrie Jones and her husband Danny, and Mary “Maggie” Jones and her husband Tommy, all of Stearns, and Jennifer and James Jannicke, of Aurora, Colorado. A sister Florence Fischer, of Fargo, North Dakota, 13 grand grandchildren, and 15 great- grandchildren.
