Obituary for Michael Braxton Kidd
Braxton Kidd, age 33, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Whitley City First Baptist Church.
He was born January 15, 1990, in Goshen, Ohio. Braxton enjoyed riding his motorcycle and hanging out with friends, and spending time with his son who was his pride and joy. He was a volunteer fireman with Whitley City Fire Department and a Senior Officer Specialist for the Federal Bureau of Prisons at USP McCreary. Braxton was a hardworking, kindhearted, generous family man who cared for everyone.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Tammy Kidd, his Nanny, Helen Kidd, uncle Todd Kidd, and aunt, Patty King.
Survivors include the mother of his child, BriAnna Kidd, son, Lennox Michael Kidd, father, Mike Bolin, sisters, Torrey Kidd, Garra Kidd, and Jessica Mason, and husband, Nathan, Lance Kidd, Nick Kidd, Gavin Kidd, Ben Wright, and Tyler Perry whom he considered brothers, aunts, Teresa Tucker, and husband, Johnny and Traci Kidd, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, special family Rita, Donny, and Matthew Wright, and all of his brothers at the Whitley City Fire Department and USP McCreary.
