It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Michael Wayne Kidd, 54, of Stearns went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 11, 2024. He was born April 10, 1970 in Somerset KY, the son of Herbert and the late Grace (Gregory) Kidd. He was preceded in death by his mother and his twin brother Mitchell Blaine Kidd and nephew Andrew Herbert Kidd.

Michael is survived by his father Herbert (Elvena)Kidd; a daughter Tiffany Stephens and a son Michael Wayne Kidd II all of Stearns; brothers Gary (Teresa) Kidd of Woodruff, SC and Hank Kidd of Stearns, KY. Sisters Faye (Morris) King of Strunk, KY and Norma (John) Benton of Springfield, OH. He leaves three grandchildren: Jack, Logan, and Emberleigh. Along with nieces and nephews-Allan, Cyndi, Megan, Scottie, James, and Tommi.

Although Michael lost his longtime battle with diabetes, he was prepared to meet his Savior. Michael had a great sense of humor and a loving heart. He enjoyed working on cars and helping his dad with bee keeping. Michael loved his family and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was placed into the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on April 16th, at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Hickman Strunk Funeral Home. Friends visited with Michael's family from 10:00AM until the funeral hour. Burial followed in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. A light lunch was served for family and friends at the Integrated Community Ministries Center at 4837 Rattlesnake Ridge Rd, Stearns, KY.
