Mikey Allen Jones, age 49 years, 10 months, and 7 days, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 31, 2022, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Stewart Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Rock Springs Cemetery.

He was born March 18, 1972, in Marshes Siding, Kentucky to Herman Jones and Flonnie Perry Jones. Mikey worked as a cook at the Huddle House for many years, where he bragged that he was the best cook that they ever had and made a delicious omelet. He enjoyed sports especially the Dallas Cowboys, and sports trivia. He also enjoyed listening to music.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ross Jones, sons, Antonio Jones, Bailey Jones, and Coty Jones, brothers and sisters, Glenna Freeman, Daniel Perry, Teresa Perry, and husband, Paul, Russell Jones, and wife, Michele, Stewart Jones, and wife, Pam, Anthony Jones, and wife, Maria, Shantella Todd, Vicki Jones, and Herbie Jones.
