Obituary for Misty Renee Ison
Misty Renee Ison, aged 58 years, 6 months, and 19 days, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 11, 2020.
Misty was born October 22, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio. During her life she traveled and eventually made Pine Knot, Kentucky her home. She was self employed, designing and sewing Halloween and other costumes. Misty was a free spirited person, she loved animals and was always helping the less fortunate.
In keeping with Misty's wishes, she was cremated.
She is survived by her significant other, Lee Strunk , of Strunk, a son, Derek Ison, of Strunk, Kentucky; a daughter, Zhanien Ison, of Lafollette, Tennessee, her best friend, Sharon Strunk, brothers, Marty Ison, Tom Ison, and Todd Ison, and one grandchild, Korben Ison.
Misty is preceded in death by her father, her mother, Carolyn Pullit, and one brother, David Ison.
