Naomi was a member of Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church for fifty years. Upon the passing of her husband, she worked as a cook with McCreary County Schools. Naomi enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, and people who helped her were often rewarded with a dozen or so homemade cinnamon rolls. From an early age she loved being in the outdoors with her father, who often took her hiking and fishing, and yes, she could bait her own hook, thank you. She fondly recalled fishing trips with her husband and family to Canada, one of which had to be shortened due to wolves gradually encroaching upon their campsite.
Naomi leaves behind a long legacy of delicious food, joyful gatherings with family, and a heart of service for the Lord, honoring Him in song and in her heart’s generosity toward others.
Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Naomi Canada Keith.
