Obituary for Norma V Stephens (King)
Norma V. Stephens, age 87 years, 10 months, and 7 days of Revelo, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, Kentucky and was place in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Inman and Bro. Stanley Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
Norma was born on Wednesday, July 15, 1932 in Revelo, Kentucky to William Virgil King and Hazel Lovett King. Norma attended the Church of God faithfully until her health failed.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, friends, and church fellowship meals, sharing her home and hospitality freely. Norma enjoyed quilting and playing cards with her family, but above all she enjoyed her family time.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 48 years, Elmer Stephens; five brothers, Harley King, Doyle King, William King, Jr., Troy Arnold King, Donald Dean King; and a sister, Lena Ross.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gale Sexton, of Revelo; stepsons, Coy Stephens, Larry Stephens and his wife, Diane, and John Paul Stephens and his wife, Rose; grandchildren, Teresa Foster, Paula Meadows and her husband, Danny, Jennifer Kidd and her husband, Chad, Vernon Foster and his wife, Dawn, James Stephens and his wife, Becky, Melissa Maxwell and her husband, Brian, and Tamara Jackson and her husband, Brandon, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
