Obituary for Patricia Ann Phillips
Patricia Ann Phillips, age 65 years, 7 months, and 8 days, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after 11:00 am at the funeral home until service time. Burial will follow in the Angel Cemetery.
Family and friends are reminded to adhere to current CDC guidelines and masks are required.
She was born May 6, 1955 in Lincoln Park, Michigan to Lawrence Vanover and Edna Stephens Vanover. Pat was a member of the Meadow Grove Baptist Church, but was attending Whitley City Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and ferns, cooking for her family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. Pat was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She had many friends whom she loved, and who loved her, but above all she loved the Lord.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, David Vanover, a sister, Linda Sue Vanover, and a great-grandchild Jancetun Waters.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Phillips, two sons, Mark Phillips, and wife, Melissa, and Roger Phillips, and wife, Christi, daughter, Lisa Ball, and husband, Phillip, two sisters, Velvie Byrd, and husband, Joe, and Kathy Richardson, and husband, Bill, a sister-in-law, Thelma Jean Phillips, six grandchildren, Trevor Phillips, Taylor Phillips, Trey Phillips, Lauryn Phillips, Molly Phillips, and Isabella Ball.
The passing of Pat is mourned by all who knew and loved her, but we know that she leaved many wonderful memories behind. We hope these will be of comfort to you in your time of sorrow.
