If it had not been for Calvin giving two youngsters a chance we would not have gotten to own our home.Calvin not only offered us a place to rent but he offered to sell it to us on land contract with low down payment. Us being in our early 20s we still had hard time coming up with it so we went to the bank. The bank said it being our first loan it was to much and the most we could borrow was 500 and had to have co signer. We was heartbroken thinking that we wasn't able to buy it, but when we told Calvin he said don't worry about that I will just have to lower it to 500 and go with you to co sign for you cause I am not selling it to anyone else and are you sure you don't want the other side of the road.lol I remember him also coming cutting the hay off the field and giving him fresh made lemonade, seemed like the least I could do for him that did such a generous thing he did for two youngsters starting out. We have always been so grateful to him. To his family we are so sorry for your loss, prayers for you all for peace and comfort.
