Obituary for Rhonda Ann West (Jones)
Rhonda Ann Jones West, age 63 years, 8 months, and 27 days, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 27, 2021, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery.
She was born December 28, 1957, to George "Gee" West and Mary Rowena Jones Ross in Worley, Kentucky. Rhonda was a fierce, independent and strong willed woman who was never afraid to speak her mind. She enjoyed being outdoors, trading and had many sports cars in her younger years. She had a laugh that was contagious. Rhonda had unbelievable strength, overcoming breast cancer twice in her lifetime. She was a fun and wild spirit who would grace the presence of anyone who was around her. To know her was to love her.
Preceding her in death was her parents, maternal grandparents, Luther and Hattie Belle Jones, paternal grandparents, John and Laura West, and brother, Johnny West.
Survivors include, her daughter, Krystal Michelle Wilson Coffey, and husband, Rhonda's favorite son-in-law Randy Dale, brothers, Michael “Mike” Byron Jones, and Anthony “Tony” Kerwin Ross, and wife, Vicki, sister, Susan Rochelle Ross, grandchildren, Meghan Danielle Coffey Dobbs, and husband, Ricky Lee, and Carrie Nichole Coffey, and fiancé, Skyler Devonlee Coffey, a extremely special friend, Sandra Kay Meadows, and precious nephew, Lucas "Luke" Meadows.
