Obituary for Roger Dale Strunk
Roger Dale Strunk, age 71 years, 3 months, and 10 days, of Whitley City passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023 in Lexington, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Angel Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
He was born September 4, 1952 in Barthell to Willis Strunk and Juanita Roysden Strunk. Roger made his living repairing equipment in a battery plant. He enjoyed traveling and had traveled extensively for work. After his retirement, he lived in Central America where he built houses. In his spare time, Roger enjoyed his animals.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Winfred Strunk and Bobby Strunk, also known as Kenny, sisters, Sheila Dixon and Mary Morgan, and a grandchild.
Survivors include a son, Charles Strunk, daughters, Karissa Strunk and Charla Strunk Daniels, and son, Chuck Strunk, a brother, Allen Strunk, sisters, Donna Coffey, Lillian Stephens, Betty Stephens, and Linda Goodman, seven grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
