Obituary for Ronnie Logan New
Ronnie Logan New, aged 65, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed into the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Services were held on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024. The family received friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm in the Chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. A graveside service was held in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery at 2:15pm.
Ronnie was born on October 27th, 1958 to Logan and Glenna (Roy) New in Jellico, TN. Ronnie obtained his GED and worked as a factory worker, including at the Denim Processing plant. After retirement he enjoyed spending time around his home with dogs and doing yard work.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Elam and her husband Mike of Stearns, Kentucky, his brothers, Ricky New, Robert New and his wife Sonya, Randy New and his wife Sherry, all of Whitley City, and many nieces and nephews.
