Obituary for Timothy Allen Dixon
Timothy Allen Dixon, age 51, of Whitley City, Kentucky, son of the late James Lonnie Dixon and Betty Strunk Dixon, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, at the UK Medical Center, and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Jeffers and Bro. Cyrus Byrd officiating. Burial followed in the Flat Rock Cemetery.
He was a member of the Pine Knot Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and local sports. Tim was a huge UK fan, and loved going to church and spending time with family.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include, his brother, Eddie Dixon, sister, DeVonda Vaughn, and husband, Robbie, nephew, Tyler Vaughn, and wife, Tori, and special friends, Cyrus Byrd, and Vernon Phillips.
