Wanda Daugherty Stephens, age 77 years, 2 months, and 23 day, of Whitley City, Kentucky, widow of Scott Stephens, passed away Tuesday October 24, 2023, at her home and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation was chosen.
She was born in Revelo, Kentucky, on August 1, 1946, to Alfred Daugherty and Janie Stevens Daugherty. Wanda Enjoyed being with family, singing, teasing people, working in her flower garden, and animals.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Scott Stephens, daughter, Jane Stephens, brother, Virgil Hutson, and sisters, Ruth Nichols, Velva Hayworth, Dorothy Koontz, and Leota Jackson.
Survivors include daughters, Charlotte Stephens and Rachael Anderson, and husband, Joseph, brother, Albert Daugherty, sister, Helena Genoe, grandchildren, Charles Scott Jones, Dustin Lee Jones, Justin Anderson, Rebecca Martin, and husband Brandon, great grandchildren, David and Riley and a host of nieces and nephews she loved.
