Curtis Bloodworth, age 49 years, 3 months, and 25 days, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Friday, July 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie King and Jacob Genoe. Burial was in the Strunk Cemetery. He was born March, 22, 1963 in Whitley City, Kentucky to Ellis Bloodworth and Glenna Tucker Bloodworth. He was a member of Ross Grove United Baptist Church. Curtis enjoyed fishing and hunting. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include a wife, Elfreda Bloodworth of Whitley City, Kentucky, two sons, Travis Kennedy of Whitley City, Kentucky and Curtis Anthony Bloodworth of Whitley City, Kentucky, one daughter, Alisha Genoe and her husband Jacob, of Whitley City, Kentucky, one brother, Walter Darling of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, three sisters, Pat Watson and her husband Sandy of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Joy Hayes and her husband Phillip of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Tammy Lyons and her husband Jamie, of Wiborg, Kentucky, grandchildren, Tristan Genoe, Cayden Genoe, Miley Belle Genoe, and Carter Curtis Lee who has not yet made his arrival. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Curtis Bloodworth.
