Ada S. Jones age 95 years, 7 months, and 18 days, of Stearns, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 in at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Wayne Inman officiating. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery. James, Perry, Tony Perry, Fred Jones, Edward Morgan, Chris Perry, Andrew Bruce, Mike Strunk, Geoff Bruce, Wayne Jones, B J Bruce and Ryan Bruce served as pallpearers. She was born March 25, 1921 in McCreary County, Kentucky to Everett and Lula (Chitwood) Inman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Rock United Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing and caring for her family. Preceding her in death are parents; husband, Johnie Jones; son, Oscar Jones; daughter, Phyllis Jones; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters. Survivors include her sons, Clarence Jones and wife, Shelia of Oneida, Tennessee, Arnold Jones and wife Sue of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Lawrence Jones of Stearns, Kentucky; daughters, Imogene Perry of Weatherford, Texas, Ella Mae Matthews and husband, Cecil and Pat Strunk and husband, Dale, both of Stearns, Kentucky, and Judy Morgan and Karen Bruce both of Whitley City, Kentucky; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Ada S. Jones.
