Allen Campbell, age 67 years, 3 months, and 20 days, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen. No services are scheduled.

Born in Corbin, Kentucky, to the late Herman and Louella Lundy Campbell, Allen was a retired crane operator. He was a dedicated member and trustee of Walkers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where he was deeply involved in the community. Known for his benevolence and love for his church family, Allen made a lasting impact on all who knew him.

In his personal life, Allen enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He had a passion for guns and shooting sports, taking great pride in his skills. Yard work, barbecuing, and cooking were other activities that brought him joy, as he was always eager to share his talents with family and friends.

Allen was also an original member of the NPG, an exclusive group known for its camaraderie "If you know, you know."

He will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and love for life. Allen's presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother David Campbell.

Survivors include step-sons, Shane Vanover and Jonathan Vanover, and many loving friends who will cherish his memory.
