Amelia Elaine Redmon, who we affectionately called Amy, was born on May 14, 1986, she passed away on August 14, 2024 at the age of 38, at the Big South Fork Regional Hospital, and was placed into the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at 1:00pm in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral home. Burial followed in the Somerset City Cemetery, (511 W. Columbia St. Somerset, Ky 42501). The family received friends from 12:00pm until the funeral hour.

Amy was a beautiful soul, to know Amy was to love her to be loved by her. She always had a smile on her face, no matter who she met. Amy was many things to many people, but above all, she was a mother to her children: Madison, Logan and Keegan.

Amelia is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Forest Marcum Redmon and Kenneth Eugene Bowman, and her uncles Charles Roberts and David Kidd.

Amelia is survived by her parents, Paul and Robin Redmon; her companion Brandon Mounce, her daughter, Madison Strunk, her sons, Logan Strunk and Keegan Mounce, her brother Christopher Redmon and his wife Veronica, her nephews Tyler McGrath, Johnny McGrath, and Kyle Redmon, her grandmothers Norma Kidd and Hettie Bowman, her uncles and aunts, Mark and Donna Redmon, Sharon and Jerry Whitehead, Rosie Roberts, Randall Bowman, Kenny and Tammy Bowman, Scott and Debbie Bowman, Penny and Sammy Damrell, Brian Bowman, Sarah Kidd, Mark and Trina Bowman, many, many cousins, James Strunk, the father of Madison and Logan Strunk, Brandon Mounce the father of Keegan Mounce, her Dollar General Family, and many friends and extended family.
