Anna Margaret Goodan age 94 years, 2 months, and 2 days, of Somerset, Kentucky formerly of McCreary County passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehab in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Anderson officiating. Burial followed in the McCreary Memorial Gardens. She was born September 29, 1921 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Floyd and Anita (Mater) Adams. Anna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Somerset. She served for 30 years as Pastor's wife at First Baptist Church Whitley City and enjoyed reading and crocheting. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Rev. Carl William Goodan; and a brothers, Floyd Adams, Jr. and Carl Adams. Survivors include her sons, William Timothy Goodan of Somerset, Kentucky, James Lee Goodan, Sr. and wife Norene of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Mark E. Goodan and wife, Julie of Somerset, Kentucky; a daughter of the heart, Molly Rose of Somerset, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jimmy Goodan and wife, Lisa Harris, Heather Smith, Lee Goodan, Tim Goodan, Jonathan Goodan and wife, Beth, and Eric Goodan and wife, Stevi; and great grandchildren, Victoria Smith, Cade Smith, Cooper Smith, Olivia Goodan, Eli Goodan, and Emmitt Goodan. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Mrs. Anna Margaret Goodan.
