Anna Lee Wright age 88 years, 3 months, and 10 days of Stearns, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Graveside services were held Saturday, September 10, 2016, after 3:00pm at the Wright Cemetery with Bro. Walt Swyers officiating. She was born in the Paunch Creek Community of Strunk, Kentucky on May 26, 1928 to John Lawrence and Elva (King) Ross. Anna was a member of the Valley Station Baptist Church. She became a homemaker after retiring from the Job Corps. Anna had also worked at the King Edward Restaurant and in past time was a valued employee for the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Anna graduated from the McCreary County High School and during her time there, she enjoyed cheerleading. She also enjoyed caring for family, basket weaving, and was an avid reader. Anna will be best remembered as a kind loving family woman. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dorman Ross, son-in-law, Gary Kinsella; and a brother-in-law, Joe Anderson. Survivors include her son, Arthur D. (Donnie) Wright, Jr. and wife, Rita of Stearns, Kentucky; daughters, Jamie Swyers and husband, Walt of Louisville, Kentucky, Cissy Kinsella of Stearns, Kentucky, and Nancy Heitlauf and husband, Mike of LaGrange, Kentucky; brothers, David Ross and wife, Kathy of Marshes Siding, Kentucky and Maurice Ross and wife, Ruth of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; sisters, Bertha Jo Anderson and Donna Ross both of Whitley City, Kentucky, and June Ross of Revelo, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were Ryan Wright, Chris Siegfried, Matt Swyer, Mike Ross, Jime Kinsella, and Mike Heitlauf. Hickman Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Anna Lee Wright.
