Arless Bryant, age 72 years, 8 months, and 4 days, of Whitley City, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Monday, October 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Jackson and Bro. Mark Sewell officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery. He was born January 25, 1945 in Whitley City to Leslie Bryant and China Perry Bryant. Arless was a member of the Sand Hill United Baptist Church and had worked in maintenance for Norfolk Southern Railroad, before his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Preceding him in death are his parents, brothers, Harold Bryant, Randy Bryant, and Gurther Bryant, and sister, Penny Lake. Survivors include his wife, Sheila Bryant, whom he married August 19, 1978, sons, Tony Bryant and his wife, Rulanda, of Jacksonville, Florida, William Michael Bryant and his wife, Joanne, of Stearns, Kentucky, Scott Bryant and his wife, Cathy, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Michael Wayne Bryant and his wife, Heather, of Whitley City, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and sisters, Elva Perkins of Stearns, Kentucky, Opal McHone, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mae Bryant of Marshes Siding, Kentucky.
