Beatrice Daugherty, 84 years, 6 months, and 26 days, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 1:00pm in the chapel at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial was in the Josh Wilson Cemetery. Beatrice was born to Lloyd Anderson and Blanche Cordell-Anderson on January 29, 1935 in Strunk, Kentucky. She married her husband Aaron on March 4, 1952. Beatrice worked in the health care field for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member at the Silerville United Baptist Church and had previously served as the song leader for the choir. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, and spending time with her beloved family. Preceding her in death are: her parents, Lloyd and Blanche Anderson; sisters, Bernice Hamby, Doris Wilson, infant sister Betty Lou Anderson; and brother, Ottis Anderson. Beatrice is survived by a large family, which includes: her husband, Aaron Daugherty; one son, Allen Daugherty and his wife, Deena, of Ten Mile, Oregon; one daughter, Pamela Sims of Pine Knot, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jesse, Heather, and Josh Hughes, Melissa and Jeremy Whightsill, Bruce Daugherty, Jeremy Hunt, Cory Mickle; and great-grandchildren, Gracie and Hannah Sims, Chase and Seth Whightsil, Kegon, Rowan, and Jack Hughes. Taller and Tanner Hunt, and Cayla and Carlie Mickel. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Mrs. Beatrice Daugherty.
