Betty Louann Cox, age 32 years, 1 month, and 2 days, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab Center in Somerset, Kentucky, and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Perry officiating. Burial followed in the Sandhill Cemetery. She was born February 27, 1990, in Corbin, Kentucky, to Tim Vanover and Susie Cox Vanover. She was a member of the Sandhill United Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed watching television, listening to music, and spending time with her nephews. Preceding her in death was her mother, Susie, grandfather, Ray Cox, and grandmother, Cleda Faye Vanover. Survivors include father, Tim Vanover, grandfather, Sonny Vanover, grandmother Betty Cox, sister, Samantha Cox Massey, and husband, James aunts and uncles, Melissa Phillips, and husband, Mark, Bonnie Privett, and husband, Charlie, Sam Cox, and wife, Della, Janie Cox, and Peggy Cox, nephews, Nathan, and Coleman Neeley, and many special cousins. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Betty Louann Cox.
